Temperance Cellars 2014 Cabernet Franc
It’s hard to surpass a great Cabernet France, and this new discovery from little-known Temperance Cellars and winemaker Justin Charbonneau is a gem. It’s range of flavors are typical to the varietal, but their vibrance and definition make the wine delightful. Decant this lovely wine and unlock its intriguing floral complexities, intense flavors of dark berry and cassis (a European fruit that tastes of liquorice and Cuban cigars), and you now have a great companion for a host of summer-time foods. This will work with lamb, roast chicken, chicken piccata and grilled fish. Go heavy on the herbal spices, and don’t be shy with sweet and savory sauces. 62 cases produced.
